The Challenge
In March 2022, Sarah Harris-Clint and her husband, Gareth Clint, launched Crafty Legs Events to breathe new life into the Caerphilly Craft Fair after the disruptions caused by COVID-19.
They needed a large order of durable and reliable gazebo units that could withstand frequent use in a year-round outdoor market. The gazebos had to be both sturdy and fully waterproof to ensure that traders remained protected from the elements throughout all seasons.
The Caerphilly Craft Fair, held around the Cenotaph and opposite Caerphilly Castle, is a vibrant year-round market featuring local artisans who offer a wide range of handmade food, drinks, and crafts.
Gazeboshop's Solution
In 2022, after discussing the requirements and budget with Claudia, Sarah ordered twenty-four 3m x 3m Trader Steel 32 Series gazebos with sidewalls in green and yellow. These gazebos were chosen for their sturdy construction and excellent stability, making them perfect for commercial use. They provide reliable protection during mild weather and rain showers, ensuring a functional trading space for vendors.
To further secure the gazebos, Sarah also ordered around 96 sets of sandbag leg weights. The green and yellow gazebos not only offer a practical solution but also create a welcoming atmosphere that delights both vendors and visitors.
Due to their success and expansion, Sarah and Crafty Legs Events have continued to place orders with us, now owning approximately 165 pop-up gazebos. They’ve expanded their operations, adding more events and fairs, and even renting units to the Caerphilly Council events team.
