Do I need to anchor my pop up gazebo down?

Yes. Your pop up gazebo must be properly anchored, this is essential to avoid wind and storm damage. It is absolutely necessary to prevent the gazebo unit from taking off as this might cause not only irreversible damage to the pop up gazebo shelter itself but could also lead to damaging other property. Your pop up gazebo comes supplied with a standard tie down kit. To provide further stability to your pop up gazebo in windy weather conditions or on wet, soft ground additional anchoring may be required to ensure your gazebo unit remains stable and safe.
When securing your pop up gazebo on hard standing ground such as concrete or tarmac we recommend the use of either steel stacking or sand bag leg weights (we do not supply the contents for the sand bags).
