What makes the premium PVC fabric different?

We’ve recently introduced a heavy-duty, premium 350gsm PVC fabric that’s fully waterproof and designed for tough, long-term outdoor use. Offering exceptional strength and protection, it’s the ideal choice when you need maximum durability and reliability in challenging weather conditions.

How does the premium 350gsm PVC fabric compare to the standard 600D Oxford polyester fabric?

Durability

• 350gsm PVC: Extremely durable, highly resistant to prolonged sun exposure, and built to withstand harsh weather.
• 600D Oxford Polyester: Strong and dependable for regular use but may fade more quickly under UV exposure. Best suited for lighter or seasonal outdoor use.

Waterproofing

• 350gsm PVC: Fully waterproof, offering complete protection during heavy rain.
• 600D Oxford Polyester: Water-resistant, suitable for moderate weather conditions.

Colour Retention

• 350gsm PVC: Excellent colour fastness, especially in darker shades. Maintains vibrancy over time.
• 600D Oxford Polyester: Colours may fade faster with regular exposure to direct sunlight.

Warranty

• 350gsm PVC: Comes with a 2-year warranty for long-term peace of mind.
• 600D Oxford Polyester: Includes a 1-year warranty for standard coverage.

Are there any downsides to the premium fabric?

While the premium fabric offers greater durability, there are a few trade-offs:

• Heavier weight: It’s bulkier and heavier than polyester, making it less convenient to transport.
• Less flexible: Due to its rigidity, it can be more difficult to fold and pack neatly.

Has the fabric been tested?

Yes. The 350gsm PVC fabric has been rigorously tested over 12 months in various weather conditions. The results show significantly better performance than polyester, particularly in terms of strength and UV resistance. Polyester tends to fade more quickly under sun exposure, whereas the PVC fabric retains both its structural integrity and vibrant colour.
