Sizzling Hot Instant Shelter for Smoking Beetle

Over the last few years, the UK’s food scene has experienced rapid growth, with mobile catering concepts becoming increasingly popular with consumers.
Quirky mobile catering business, Smoking Beetle, based in East Sussex has seen just that! Smoking Beetle grill and bake delicious food over real charcoal in a unique Volkswagen Beetle, which has been converted into a mobile barbecue station.
Sab Sadek at Smoking Beetle first approached us back in 2012 looking for an outdoor catering gazebo to extend his existing mobile catering set up, which consisted of a Volkswagen Beetle and Campervan.
Following our help and advice, Sab ordered a 3m x 4.5m Aluminium Extreme 40 Series instant shelter with printing to all four valances and extended legs. The telescopic legs supplied as standard with our gazebos give customers five different height settings to choose from. However, the extended legs Sab opted for, would give Smoking Beetle’s gazebo an extra 0.5m headroom clearance – perfect for creating a sheltered area alongside its vehicle set-up.
All of our gazebos are fully waterproof, UV stable and flame retardant, giving mobile caterers and traders peace of mind as they comply with all the necessary regs. Our instant shelters are also quick and easy to set-up and can be collapsed down to a portable size for ease of transportation – handy when attending regular events throughout the year!

Smoking Beetle has since ordered another instant shelter, replacement canopy and spares to replace broken gazebo parts.
