What type of pop up gazebo is best for me?

Take a look at our buying guide to choosing the right gazebo for you. Alternatively, please do not hesitate to give us a call to talk through your requirements.

Do I need to anchor my pop up gazebo down?

Yes, your gazebo must be always adequately anchored, as weather conditions can change throughout the day. Without proper anchoring, a gazebo can be blown over and cause not only irreversible damage to the gazebo shelter itself but could also lead to damaging other property. Your gazebo comes supplied with a standard tie-down kit, suitable for soft ground. The best practice is to anchor the straps to the frame itself, and not the canopy. If the straps are attached to the canopy in severe wind, this can cause the material to rip, which will then be void under warranty.Customers erecting their gazebo on hardstanding ground (such as concrete or tarmac) can purchase leg weights to secure their unit.We recommend:

  • Units up to 3m x 3m - a minimum of 15kg per leg
  • Units up to 3m x 6m - a minimum of 20kg per leg
  • Units up to 4m x 8m - a minimum of 25kg per leg
Extra weights should be added if sidewalls are attached and/or if the weather forecast requires.

Can I transport my gazebo with the canopy attached?

We strongly recommend removing the canopy before transporting a gazebo – it only takes a minute to reassemble and will save you time and money on repair work! Pack down individual items and store them in protective bags. And finally, ensure the gazebo is firmly secured to prevent movement in transit.Tears and holes are often the result of transporting the canopy whilst it’s still attached to the frame. Vibrations and shaking during transportation can cause the frame parts and joints to rub against the fabric and PVC coating and thus inflict damage to the canvas. While this damage can be minimised by transporting the pop-up gazebo in a vertical position, we would like to stress that if the canopy is attached this is at the user's own risk. Extreme care must be taken as the fabric can easily get caught up in the gazebo mechanism which can cause holes and these damages are not covered under warranty.

Do your pop up gazebos comply with event health & safety regulations?

All our canopies and sidewalls are made with flame retardant material to BS 7837: 1996, DIN 4102-B1 & DIN 4102-B2 (for use in public places).

Is the gazebo fabric easy to clean?

The best policy when cleaning a gazebo is to act quickly! As soon as you see a spot or a mark, wipe it away to ensure that it doesn’t leave a stain. If left without cleaning, the canvas canopy or sidewalls are at risk of becoming moldy or stained, especially in the damper months. To clean your canopy and walls we recommend using a mild solution of warm soapy water, a soft scrubbing brush, and cleaning by hand. Do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners as this will affect the material and waterproofing. None of the coverings are machine washable. Those looking for how to clean a gazebo should also know that removing tree sap and dirt immediately is the best policy, as it will make cleaning the gazebo far easier.

How do I maintain and protect my gazebo?

Keep your gazebo as good as new all year round by following these simple and easy tips! How to Store: Gazebo canopies are not designed to be left out all year long, as adverse weather (such as strong winds, snowfall or heavy rain) can cause irreparable damage. Pools of water or snow can stretch the canvas, weakening the material and causing tears, and strong wind can cause the gazebo to uplift. Even long periods of intense sunshine can lead to discolouration. Here's how you can protect your gazebo in winter. Most importantly, when putting your gazebo away, make sure the fabric isn’t wet, as this can cause discolouration or mould. The walls and canopy should be completely dry before storing for any length of time. If they are wet or damp when packing away after using the gazebo, you must unpack them and dry them out thoroughly before storing them away. Use a gazebo storage bag for protection. You can download our owner's manual for tips on how to maintain your gazebo frame etc.

Do your gazebos come with storage bags?

Are your gazebos waterproof?

All of our canopies and sidewalls have PVC coating on the inside to ensure they are fully waterproof. Furthermore, all canopy stress points are reinforced with additional fabric and the seams are multi-stitched with heat-sealed tape to ensure waterproofing.Condensation  Condensation occurs naturally and is often mistaken for a leaking structure, with customers encountering water inside their gazebos. Gazebos are highly waterproof, making it hard for moisture to escape. If it’s raining, your chance of experiencing condensation will increase as there’s more humidity in the air. Polyester is a non-breathable fabric, which once treated with waterproofing, will not allow moisture to escape the tent. Therefore, to reduce condensation within the gazebo, it’s important to always keep your gazebo well-ventilated. Condensation occurs even when your tent is empty.Signs of Condensation

  1. Damp on the framework inside the unit
  2. Water droplets collect in pools on the gazebo canopy and sidewalls
  3. By wiping the inside of your canopy or sidewall panels with your hand and feeling a film of dampness
  4. To find condensation has formed overnight

Our sidewalls fix to the canopy and frame with a quick-fit velcro system. Please refer to our set-up instructions for the correct method. We also sell half-height sidewalls and heavy-duty clear PVC sidewall panels – ideal for market traders, catering, and street food units.
